Beekse Bergen Safari Park is organising an event full of light and colour this coming winter: Light Safari. During the special evening openings, visitors can follow a special walking route past colourfully illuminated animals, flowers and plants. Light Safari runs from 26 November 2026 to 28 February 2027 inclusive.

Special route and winter atmospheres
The colourful walking route has been specially designed. Rens Willemsen, General Manager of Safaripark Beekse Bergen: "The route is divided into different colour zones in which visitors are taken into a world full of luminous flora and fauna. Different animals are given a luminous likeness and we playfully explain the usefulness of colour in nature along the route."

Throughout the period, the park is enveloped in winter atmosphere with cosy lights and warm campfires. There is also a real winter square with a skating rink and various food trucks.

From 27 November 2025 to 1 March 2026, the Light Safari can be admired in the Safari Park. Beekse Bergen is colourfully illuminated from 5pm to 9.30pm on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. During the Christmas and spring holidays, the event can be visited daily.
